Thank you. I'm very pleased to appear twice in the list. Regarding your note about the responses: perhaps they're a reflection of the changed conditions of modern marriage. Many people find themselves bringing complicated arrangements from previous marriages and relationships into new ones, which often come with complexities of their own. The experience of introducing your new wife's in-laws from her first marriage to your first wife's second husband's children by his first marriage can make for an interesting Christmas dinner but can also make you a bit wary. And exhausted. Of course, love and passion can sweep all this aside in an instant, but when it comes to making a new long term commitment in the cold light of dawn, it's understandable that people might be a bit wary.
